Description

When you try to create a new virtual disk on a dell storage server via Dell OpenManage Server web interface, you get the following error message:
"The create virtual disk wizard failed to launch. This failure may be due to the following reasons:
No phyisical disks with free space available.
No enclosures connected to the controller.
The maximum number of virtual disks that can be created on the controller has been reached.
Controller is busy.
Controller rescan is in progress"

Solution

Reboot the server and try to add the virtual disks from the controller BIOS.
