Description

When you're trying to use the Update-StorageGroupCopy command for the first time on a newly created SCR you get the following error message:
Update-StorageGroupCopy : There is no valid StandbyReplicationNode string found for node target.domain.local.
At line:1 char:24
+ Update-StorageGroupCopy <<<< -identity "source\sg" -StandbyMachine target

Solution

Just wait until all DCs are synced and try again.
